Starting to come out of the IT cave, down the mountain, to re-engage in misanthropic ramblings about IT, programming and life in Southern California and LA in particular (for a former OH, IL, NJ, NC-ian). Join here or there for living out pre-Gibsonian life while we all wait for a neural jack. In the meantime, even the old 'analog' keyboard will do the trick.

I have to admit the TalkShoe concept is great, but they clearly are having issues. Last week, I had tried to restart an episode and now their system has gone into maintenance mode. I love the idea; is it jsp? ;P
Episode Reset: The 10 of you that downloaded last week's experiments in casting, I salute you and thanks. I'm going to try TalkShoe a few more times in hope that it comes out right. BTW: Drop me email at comments@laptopfu.com for comments, suggestions and wisecracks. As always, an ounce of civility required for a response.
Episode 2: Master Blaster
This was great fun to do at the recent DevConnections conference in Las Vegas. I especially want to thank Dan Appleman from Desaware, C.A. Callahan from Callahantech and Charles Firth for sitting down with me. This cast owes a special thanks to Erik Ruthruff from DevConnections as it took place in the same space as the Microsoft Press room - where 24 hours earlier it was used to report that Office 12 had shipped.
Episode 1: Quite the Laptop
This is the first, experimental laptop fu cast. I am still experimenting with the format. Should it be a 1-1 conversation about an individual's experience with a laptop? Panel discussion. Let me know your thoughts.
